A friend's cat had been banished to a bedroom, but Garion kept
asking “See the kitty?” The cat steadfastly remained
perfectly centered on the bed, as Garion patrolled the three sides
unsuccessfully trying to reach him.

We were in the locker room at the gym when a man walked up with a
towel draped around his waist and a wet parrot perched on one arm.
When the gentleman encouraged the bird onto Monkey-Boy's sleeve,
Garion stood as still as a statue until the parrot climbed to his
shoulder and started to nuzzle his ear, whereupon he exclaimed
happily “The bird is kissing me!”

At 3½, Garion is starting to outgrow his afternoon nap, in
which case bedtime sometimes came a little earlier than
planned…
